I was commissioned by the Mead Gallery which is part of Warwick Arts Centre and the University of Warwick to create a new arts and nature map of the campus.  In celebration of the loan of 'Acrobats' by Barry Flanagan (two balancing hares in bronze), the map takes visitors on a tour of the university sculptures and through a beautiful landscaping of woodlands, lakes and fields.  It picks out the artwork and particular natural features from stately redwood trees to swallow nests, hidden in roof eaves.
The map was hand drawn and lettered in ink with colour added both by hand in watercolour and also digitally.
It was designed to be part of a folded A2 leaflet and also for use as banners to promote the 'Follow the Hare' project.  Children can use the map in association with a second commission - a hand drawn autumn field guide - full of interesting facts, activities and illustrations about the wildlife found in the university grounds.
