About me...
- I've worked in studios of all shapes including a stable mews with a chocolaterie next door, an old co-op meat storage building complete with hooks still in the ceiling and currently above a milkshake shop in seaside Brighton, UK. Since leaving college, I've illustrated over 30 books, won several awards and exhibited around the world. My work is entirely hand produced, mainly in watercolour, coloured pencil, graphite and collage but sometimes I venture into acrylic and inks.
I also work on collaborative art projects such as an animation (in conjunction with Fat Pebble Media) - 'Welcome to Youthtopia' which became a large scale urban projection and huge hand decorated painted carts as part of a festival life drawing event- 'Enlightenment - Cabinets of Wonder' (in conjunction with Draw and the Campaign for Drawing).Illustration awards include:
